Nitin Damle

Dr. Damle is the co-founder of South County Internal Medicine (predecessor to Arches Medical) and has been practicing internal medicine in South County for 35 years. He is past president of the medical staff and past member of the Board of Trustees of South County Health System.
Dr. Damle is Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University and Chair of the Clinical Faculty Advisory Committee. He is past president of the Rhode Island Medical Society.
Dr. Damle is past member of the Board of Regents and president of the American College of Physicians (the largest specialty society in the United States).
Dr. Damle trained at the Brown University teaching hospitals and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He is an expert in internal medicine, preventive care, health care policy, tick borne illnesses (area of research interest) and the health effects of climate change.
He delivers evidence-based state of the art, comprehensive, empathic care to his patients.
