Anchor Patients
Welcome Anchor Medical Patients
We are saddened by the closure of Anchor Medical, which reflects the steep challenges facing independent primary care in Rhode Island. At Arches, we are working hard to preserve vital access to primary care for all adults, and we want to support Anchor patients in any way possible.
Scheduling a Visit
If you are an adult patient (age 17 or older) and would like to continue your care with an Arches Medical primary care provider, we welcome you at any of our seven convenient locations throughout Rhode Island.

Anchor’s medical records are being automatically integrated into our system.

Several Anchor clinicians have joined our team, helping ensure a seamless transition.
For immediate care, our clinicians can see patients of all ages the same day at our walk-in locations in Smithfield, Cumberland, and Coventry, or through a telehealth visit. This includes urgent care, sick visits, and short-term transition support (such as non-controlled prescription refills).
Requesting Records

If you are continuing care with Arches, you do not need to request records—your information is already being transferred.

If you are transferring to a different provider, please visit our [Medical Records Request page] for instructions on submitting an electronic request.

Billing Questions
Arches does not have access to Anchor’s billing systems and cannot assist with prior balances. We only have access to clinical data. For billing questions, please contact the appropriate Anchor billing office directly.
